Zambezi River Cruises

Small boats set out from Waterberry at two distinct times of day. In the evening, drinks in hand, guests drift downriver as baboons and monkeys climb to safe roosts, birds head to their night perches, and elephant and buffalo come down to drink while hippos jostle and grunt in the water. At dawn the river lies still, mist rising off the surface, and boats go out with hot coffee and blankets to watch the sun rise as birds set off to feed. Both cruises depend on the river's daily rhythm rather than a fixed script.
