ATV Quad Biking

A guided quad-biking tour across Wharekauhau's black sand beaches, riverbanks and open pastures, led by an experienced guide with an accompanying safety briefing. Riders get around twenty minutes of tuition before setting out, with protective clothing provided for beginners and experienced riders alike. The route takes in coastal breezes and stretches of open farmland along Palliser Bay. The tour runs for around two to two and a half hours. It is one of the more physical ways to see the estate's terrain, sand underfoot and salt in the air.
