Soil Barrel Cellar Passion

A one-day tour through Martinborough's wine region, built around what shapes a bottle before it is a bottle: soil, barrel, vintage and the people behind them. Guests walk the award-winning Devotus Estate, draw samples straight from the barrel to taste wine before bottling, and enter the private cellar of Martinborough Vineyards to sample older vintages rarely offered past the cellar door. Martinborough has grown vines for about forty years, young by world standards but among New Zealand's oldest wine districts.
