Wairarapa Artisans Tour

A guided day trip from the lodge into the villages of South Wairarapa, visiting small producers who work in limited quantities. The itinerary takes in an olive grove, a chocolate maker, a honey producer and a lavender farm, with tastings and time to talk with the people behind each craft. There are chances to buy directly from the makers along the way. The tour departs Wharekauhau at ten in the morning and returns by around four in the afternoon, with lunch included.
