Wilderness Chitabe Lediba – Birding

Bird numbers and species shift through the year as floodwaters rise and recede across the surrounding Okavango habitat. Guides point out African hawk-eagles overhead, ground hornbills stalking through the grass, and the bright flash of a scarlet-chested sunbird. Red-billed hornbills and gabar goshawks turn up regularly, alongside red-billed francolin working the undergrowth.
