Wilderness Little Ruckomechi – Fishing

The Zambezi River, drifting past Little Ruckomechi, holds bream, barbel and the prized tigerfish. Fishing here runs on a strict catch-and-release basis, so nothing leaves the water. Guides carry only basic tackle, so keen anglers are encouraged to bring their own rods and gear. You cast from a drifting boat, working the current for a strike, then release each catch back into the river.
