Golfers tee off in the morning at the resort's 18-hole course, its putting and bowling greens laid out against the dry hills that ring Windhoek. Guests spend an afternoon at the tables inside the Desert Jewel Casino, or take a quad bike out into the country beyond the city. The resort holds 151 rooms across a mix of styles, from 30m2 Standard Twin and Queen rooms to the 103m2 Luxury King Suite and a 125m2 Presidential Suite with its own kitchen and dining area. Rooms come with air conditioning, a mini bar, and a balcony or deck; many look over the garden or the pool. It is a working conference base too. Oryx 1, 2 and 3 combine into 742m2 of space for up to 1,000 delegates, with smaller boardrooms for groups of ten. Dinner runs at the Kokerboom Restaurant, where the buffet is cooked to order, or in the Wine Cellar for a private meal on request. Tappers Cocktail Lounge keeps coffee and cocktails going through the day. Outside, a gym, tennis court, and children's jungle gym round out the grounds. Windhoek's dry air and wide sky sit just past the fairways, close enough that a round of golf and a night at the tables both fit into one stay. Check-in is from 4pm.
