Batoka Zambezi Sands sits on the bank of the Zambezi River inside Zambezi National Park, a short distance upstream from Victoria Falls. The camp holds ten Bedouin-style tented suites — six with a private splash pool and private viewing deck, four with a viewing deck only. Each suite is seventy-four square metres under canvas, with a king-sized bed, en-suite bathroom, outdoor shower, air-conditioning, and mosquito nets. The camp accommodates a maximum of twenty-six guests, and children under six are not permitted.

The stay is all-inclusive: all meals, local drinks, and daily laundry are covered, as are twice-daily game drives through the park, guided walking safaris, catch-and-release tiger fishing on the river, morning and evening river cruises, birdwatching, and a guided tour of Victoria Falls. The Zambezi National Park has recorded four hundred and forty-seven bird species. The park is home to four of the big five, and the river holds hippo, crocodile, and Cape Clawless Otter. A bush dinner under the stars and a guided spring-line walk — following naturally occurring springs through the park where animals come to drink — are also part of the programme.

The dining room has an open theatre kitchen. Wellness sessions including bush yoga, breathwork, guided bush meditation, and in-room spa treatments are available with advance booking. Complimentary return airport transfers and daily transfers to Victoria Falls town are included.

Batoka is female-founded and African-owned. A portion of revenue from each stay goes into the Tesse Fund, which supports staff-led community projects in the surrounding area.
