The Dhow Suite at Zarafa

Under a beige canvas canopy at Zarafa Camp, this suite spans two hundred and ten square metres, its sides open to the bush but screened with netting. A heavy wooden Lamu door opens onto interiors done in deep reds and browns, brass and copper fittings throughout. A shared lounge and dining area holds a fitted table, a coffee machine, and a long leather couch. On either side sit two bedrooms, each with its own open bathroom, a copper claw-foot tub, an indoor shower, double basins and a separate toilet. Outside, a wide deck holds a five-by-two-and-a-half-metre pool, an exercise bike, and outdoor showers for each room, facing open Botswana wilderness. The main camp nearby has a curio shop and offers in-room massages.
