Uganda is a landlocked East African country whose trips centre on primate encounters and savannah wildlife. Mountain gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest and chimpanzee tracking draw visitors to montane forests in the west and southwest. Game drives happen in parks including Murchison Falls and Queen Elizabeth, where lions, elephants and other large mammals concentrate.
