Set above the water at Sedgefield, the restaurant serves all meals with the sea in view from every table. Breakfast, lunch and dinner run through the day, the room turning from bright to low-lit as the light changes outside. It is a plain, open space, built to keep the view in front of guests rather than compete with it. Meals are unhurried. Staff know the regulars and the tide times both, and the dining area works as well for an early coffee as for a slow dinner once the sun has gone down over the water.
