Acajou Beach Resort

Set on Côte d'Or beach on Praslin Island, Acajou Beach Resort occupies beachfront land above English River. The hotel opened in 1996 and was refurbished in 2014; a photovoltaic array now powers more than half the property's energy needs. Mahogany timber finishes run through the rooms, each of which holds a king-size bed, air-conditioning, flat-screen television, minibar, safe, and balcony. Standard rooms span 36 m² and face the garden. Superior rooms measure 41 m² and carry partial sea and garden views. Deluxe sea-view rooms reach 48 m². All en-suite bathrooms have showers. Family rooms pair two bedrooms with one shared bathroom and accommodate two adults and two children aged fifteen or under. One- and two-bedroom self-catering apartments are available. Starfish Restaurant operates daily on the beach, offering grilled fish, Creole curries, and an octopus curry with coconut milk. Chapo! Bar & Lounge sits within the main building. An infinity pool overlooks the sea. Spa treatments, snorkelling, scuba diving, boat cruises, and cycling can be arranged through the concierge. The resort has held Seychelles Sustainable Tourism Label accreditation since 2017.
