Klein's Camp stands in the Kuka Hills in the northeastern corner of Serengeti National Park, above a valley that runs toward the Masai Mara reserve. The camp holds ten cottages built from local stone with makuti thatch roofs and wooden floors. Each has an ensuite bathroom and a private veranda looking out over the hills and the valley below. Two of the cottages connect by a covered walkway to form a family suite, sleeping up to two adults and two children.

The camp operates on a private concession of ten thousand hectares leased from Maasai landowners. Because only Klein's Camp vehicles work this concession, game drives can leave the roads and approach wildlife without other vehicles at the sighting. Night drives run on the same ground, where predators and nocturnal animals move after dark. Guided bush walks are also included.

The main area has a bar and sitting room with leather armchairs, an open fireplace used in the evenings, and a pool with hill views. The kitchen uses vegetables grown in the camp's own garden; dinners are served inside by the fireplace or outside on the concession. Wellness treatments using Healing Earth products are available at additional cost. A visit to a Maasai boma nearby, lasting around three hours, also runs at additional cost and includes time inside a Maasai home.

Flights from Arusha to Lobo airstrip run each morning; the drive from the airstrip to camp takes between one and a half and two hours, with game viewing along the way.
