andBeyond Vira Vira

andBeyond Vira Vira sits on a twenty-two-hectare estate just outside Pucón, in Chile's Araucanía region, with Villarrica Volcano visible from the grounds. The property holds two main structures — a lodge and a hacienda — between them accounting for eighteen suites and villas. Natural lagoons and a river run through the land.

The estate is a working farm. An organic vegetable garden and a cheese factory supply the kitchen, which builds its menus around what is grown and produced on-site. The food is Chilean in character and changes with what the farm yields.

Activities are guided and adjusted to your fitness and interests. In summer: trail walking through the surrounding national parks, riding on horseback through the cordillera foothills, fly fishing, mountain biking, and water sports on the lakes. In winter the same guides take you to ski, snowboard, snowshoe, or ride a snowmobile. Scenic flights by helicopter above Villarrica Volcano run year-round, weather permitting.

Pucón, the main town for this part of the Lake District, is a short drive from the estate and serves as a practical starting point for longer excursions into the surrounding parks.
