Artsy Cascais

Artsy Cascais is a 19th-century townhouse on Avenida Dom Carlos I, a short walk from the Cascais waterfront and the town's citadel. The building's modern wing carries an exterior artwork by the street artist Vhils, and rooms set behind it let daylight filter through the cut facade onto the walls inside. The hotel holds 17 rooms and suites in total, split between the original house and this newer wing. Rooms in the townhouse keep high ceilings and large windows. Cosy Rooms run 20 m², Superior Rooms 25 m², and Attic Rooms on the top floor reach 30 m² with balconies facing the park or the ocean. Signature Suites measure 55 m² and open off the house's original staircase, with views to the citadel or the bay. A rooftop terrace sits above it all. It holds a heated pool, open to guests only. Art Restaurant serves lunch daily from noon to 2:30pm, built around local produce and bread made by hand on site. The hotel's own scent, developed by perfumer Lourenço Lucena, runs through orange, basil and cedar. Guests must be 13 or older. Lisbon airport is around 50 minutes by road.
