Beau-Rivage Palace Lausanne

Beau-Rivage Palace is a lakeside hotel at Ouchy, on the shore of Lake Geneva in Lausanne. Its salons have staged gatherings for more than 160 years, and the building still reads as a period piece, with rooms and suites ranged around views of the lake or the Alps. Fourteen room and suite categories run from 28 m² Superior rooms to the 140 m² Imperial Suite, which adds its own 65 m² terrace facing the water. The Panoramic Suite, with its rooftop, nods to a line of film figures who have stayed since Charlie Chaplin. Dining spans two-Michelin-starred Pic, the Japanese restaurant Kaigan, and the brasserie-style Café Beau-Rivage, alongside bars built for cocktails and a lobby terrace over the lake. The Guerlain Spa covers 1,500 m². It holds two pools, a patio with a lit tree of life, a fitness centre, and a hairdressing studio. In summer a sand beach opens at the water's edge, with the pool restaurant Ô Terrasse serving salads and grilled dishes through the afternoon. Electric bikes and scooters are available for exploring Lavaux's vineyards or the lakeside paths, and a tennis court, padel court, and golf range sit within the ten-acre park. Ouchy's metro terminus is a short walk along the water. The M2 runs every ten minutes from central Lausanne station.
