Set 200 metres from Scottburgh beach on the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast, the hotel operates an all-inclusive programme covering three meals daily, local beers and spirits, house wine, soft drinks, and supervised children's activities. Ninety-two rooms occupy the main building; superior rooms sleep two on king or twin beds, each with en-suite bath or shower, air-conditioning, ceiling fan, bar fridge, satellite television, safe, and telephone. Oribi Gorge, an hour by road, offers trails through thornveld and wetland where eland, zebra, and black-backed jackal are present.
