Camps Bay Retreat
A suspension bridge links Earl's Dyke Manor to the villas across a forested ravine, the Atlantic visible through the canopy. Camps Bay Retreat occupies four acres on a mountain spur between Lion's Head, Table Mountain, and the Twelve Apostles, set above the shore. The estate holds 24 rooms across five buildings. Earl's Dyke Manor, completed in 1929 to designs by William Hood Grant, anchors the property; its rooms feature marble floors, freestanding Victorian baths, and views toward the ocean or the Twelve Apostles range. Deck House offers contemporary rooms and studios, each with a private deck; some include wood-fired hot tubs. Villa rooms occupy three separate buildings reached via the bridge, with configurations ranging from single rooms to a three-bedroom suite spanning 116 m².

Six swimming pools are distributed across the estate. A natural mountain pool sits carved into the ravine. Mint Wellness Spa operates from the former pool-house terrace; treatments include sauna, steam room, and outdoor sessions in Forest Spa Pods. Bella's restaurant serves breakfast to in-house guests and opens for lunch and dinner by reservation, drawing on herbs and vegetables grown in the on-site nursery. A padel court occupies an elevated position with views across mountain and ocean. Paths thread through indigenous plantings, past streams and a waterfall. Camps Bay Beach lies minutes away by road.
