Departing twice daily with a professional guide and tracker, game drives head into the Sabi Sand Game Reserve from Chitwa Chitwa Game Lodge. The lodge overlooks a dam on the reserve's western edge—a gathering point for wildlife throughout the day. Six suites, the Charlsy Suite, and the two-bedroom Chitwa House together provide eight units, each opening onto a private timber deck with a plunge pool facing the water. Hippos vocalise from the dam at night.
The six Chitwa Suites range from 130 to 180 square metres. Each includes a bath, indoor and outdoor showers, air-conditioning, a fireplace, minibar, hairdryer, and coffee and tea facilities. The Charlsy Suite comprises two interlinking en-suite rooms with a shared living area, a deck, and a swimming pool. Chitwa House holds two en-suite bedrooms, a shared lounge and dining space, and a deck with a pool. The house includes a dedicated butler, a private safari vehicle with guide and tracker, and a fully equipped kitchen.
Bush walks run with a qualified field guide. The on-site spa offers massages and wellness treatments. Private bush picnics are arranged at secluded locations on the reserve. The custom-built Pizza Truck—a converted safari vehicle—serves wood-fired pizzas during evening drives. A cultural excursion visits the neighbouring village of Dixie. The underground wine cellar stocks South African and imported bottles. Breakfast and lunch are served beside the pool; dinners rotate between the boma around a fire, the dining room, and locations in the bush. Laundry service, minibar, and wireless internet are complimentary.
