Delta Camp stands at the Chief's Island edge of the Okavango Delta, inside a palm-forested island where clear channels, open floodplains, and more than four hundred and fifty bird species surround the camp. Large game moves freely between the Delta's countless islands.

The camp holds a maximum of eighteen guests across seven lethaka — reed — chalets, each built from natural materials and raised off the forest floor. Rooms have en-suite bathrooms, hot and cold running water, mosquito nets, and solar-powered lighting, with an outdoor shower facing the bush. A separate treehouse, available on request, is built around a mature tree two storeys up, with an en-suite bathroom and a private deck giving a hundred and eighty degrees of floodplain views.

Every chalet is assigned its own private guide — a local, born and raised in the Delta — who takes guests out by mokoro, the traditional dug-out canoe, through the channels and floodplains, and on foot across the islands. For stays of four nights or more, the camp runs privately guided overnight camping trails on Chief's Island, recommended at a minimum of three nights.

Guests can visit the baYei village where the guides live; cultural interaction there is actively encouraged. Meals are served in a central dining area overlooking the Delta, or as a picnic on a nearby island. Fresh vegetables, cheese, meat, and wine are flown in daily. The camp runs on solar power.
