Elephant Hills Resort

Elephant Hills sits on a low hill above the Zambezi River, four kilometres upstream from Victoria Falls. The position means you are close enough to reach the falls easily and far enough that antelope graze on the grounds and baboons move through the trees between the buildings.

All two hundred and seventy-six rooms have a balcony, and most look out over the Zambezi or the golf course that runs across the resort's lower grounds. Room categories run from standard twins and kings through luxury rooms with river or golf-course views to executive suites, which add a king bed, a Jacuzzi, a separate shower, and a balcony over the course. Each room has air conditioning, satellite television, tea and coffee facilities, and an en-suite bathroom.

On the grounds you will find a pool, a golf course with a practice green, two tennis courts, a squash court, a gym, and a spa offering massages and treatments. A conference centre and business facilities serve groups. The activity desk organises what the resort does not run itself: river cruises, scenic helicopter flights over the falls, canoe trips on the Zambezi, game drives, guided walks, and white-water activities downstream.

The resort is on Park Way, the main road into Victoria Falls town, which puts the falls themselves, the town centre, and the border crossing into Zambia all within a short drive.
