Emerson Spice

Emerson Spice is a merchant's house restored as an 11-room hotel in Stone Town, Zanzibar. Rooms are individually designed around an airy central courtyard that brings light into the building. Each features air conditioning, a fridge, and a seating area; bathrooms open to the bedroom. Art Deco motifs combine with traditional Zanzibar furnishings, including carved Swahili beds and antique furniture sourced locally.
