Forever African Safaris Luxury Private Tented Bush Camps

Forever African Safaris runs private mobile bush camps inside Hwange National Park, one of southern Africa's largest wildlife areas, roughly the size of Belgium. The camps sit near Dete in Matabeleland North and come in three configurations, each sized at two to six tents so that you share the bush with your own group rather than a lodge full of strangers.

The Luxury Bush Camp uses East African A-frame safari tents, each with an en-suite bathroom — eco-drop latrines, a vanity, and hot-water bucket showers — plus proper beds, linen, and a camp-style cupboard. The camp is fully catered and privately guided. The Explorer camp uses lighter dome tents with stretcher beds and camp furnishings, shared hot-water showers, and fireside catering; it suits birders, families with older children, photographers, and horseback safari groups. The Survivor option is the lightest configuration — dome tents with mattresses, shared showers, and eco-latrines — designed to be moved easily and run with your participation in camp tasks.

Across all three options, guided game drives and walking safaris run through the park, led by professional guides. Horse riding is also available on site. The camps carry battery charging facilities and offer a laundry service, and the kitchen accommodates vegetarians.

Because the camps are mobile, their position within Hwange can shift to follow the wildlife or the season.
