Ghoha Hills Savuti Lodge

Set on Ghoha Hills overlooking the Savuti Plains in Chobe National Park, the lodge lies 150 kilometres southwest of Kasane. Eleven tented rooms sit on the ridge, each with a private viewing deck facing a waterhole and unbroken views across the plains. Nine twin or king rooms accommodate two; two family tents hold four in a main bedroom and an interleading room with two single beds. All have en-suite bathrooms with double vanity, separate shower and toilet, lime-washed wooden floors, air-conditioning, overhead and standing fans, mosquito nets, and a personal safe. Gowns, slippers, and eco-friendly guest amenities are standard. The main thatched area houses dining space, lounge seating, and a rock pool on a separate deck above the waterhole. A boma with campfire, spa treatment room, and compact gym with multi-station machine and stationary bike complete the facilities. Daily game drives depart at sunrise and sunset on a private network of roads; full-day excursions run to the Savuti Marsh, the Cathedral of Baobabs, and rock art sites near Quarry Hill. Guides and trackers lead drives to Harvey's Pan, the Savuti Sand Ridge, and the Kudu Hills. You can hear elephant herds at the waterhole from the deck. The lodge is solar-powered and holds Eco Tourism certification. Wireless internet is available at the pool and main area. Laundry service is complimentary.
