Grand Hyatt Baha Mar

Grand Hyatt Baha Mar occupies fifteen acres of Cable Beach on New Providence, the island that holds Nassau. With 1,800 rooms it is a large resort by any measure — rooms and suites run from standard to three-bedroom configurations, and most have a balcony looking out over the ocean, the beach, or the resort grounds.

The facilities cover most of what a beach holiday might call for. There is a waterpark and multiple swimming pools with poolside cabanas, a casino, a golf course, tennis courts, a fitness centre, and a spa. Mini-golf rounds out the shorter-stay options. The dining spread runs to several restaurants and bars across the property, broad enough that most guests eat and drink on site without needing to leave.

Suites include one- to three-bedroom layouts, which makes the resort a workable base for families travelling together. In-room basics include Wi-Fi, a minibar, and a Keurig coffee maker. The resort also operates as a wedding venue.

Cable Beach runs along the north shore of New Providence, a short drive west of Nassau's centre. Most international arrivals come through Lynden Pindling International Airport, which is roughly fifteen minutes from the resort by road.
