Grand Resort Jermuk

Jermuk sits in Vayots Dzor province, a valley town built around mineral springs that have drawn visitors for generations, and the resort stands at its centre, 200 metres from the Mineral Water Gallery. It is a working wellness address rather than a scenic backdrop, with treatment built into the stay: balneology using the town's mineral waters, physiotherapy, and electrotherapy, each assigned after a consultation with a physician. Rooms number 92 in total, including five luxury rooms and a Presidential Suite, ranging from 35 to 104 square metres. Most have a private balcony or large windows facing the valley; you can take coffee outside as the mountain air moves through in the morning. A footpath leads from the resort to Jermuk's waterfall, a walk of about a kilometre through open country. The Jermuk Ropeway is a short ride away, climbing above the town for wider views of the surrounding peaks. Indoors, the wellness clinic runs a pool, sauna, Jacuzzi and gym alongside its medical treatments, and the restaurant looks onto the valley through wide windows. The Lobby Bar and Green Lounge cover the quieter hours. It is a resort organised around recovery as much as rest, set into a landscape shaped by its own springs.
