Set above Upper Arrow Lake in British Columbia's Monashee Mountains, Halcyon Hot Springs Resort centres on lithia-rich mineral pools fed by natural hot springs. Accommodation types scatter through forested grounds within walking distance of the pools and lobby. Loft chalets sleep six across two levels. King chalets and one-bedroom chalets accommodate four. King cottages and queen cabins hold two. The two-bedroom chalet sleeps six. Studio suites range from small units sleeping four to large doubles-bed configurations. Blondin Cottage provides a queen bed in a private room plus a sofa bed, a three-piece bathroom with stand-up shower and tub, and a kitchenette with mini fridge, hot plate, coffee maker, and microwave. Economy king cottages feature covered decks, air conditioning, and corner showers. Select units are pet-friendly. Chanterelle Restaurant overlooks the mountains and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner; the menu draws on local ingredients and farm-raised meats. A poolside café operates seasonally. The spa offers massage and nail care. Paddle-board yoga takes place on the lake. Year-round activities include hiking, mountain biking, stand-up paddleboarding, fly fishing with local guides, whitewater rafting, golf, and yoga classes. Winter options include alpine skiing at Summit Lake and ice fishing. A private dining room seats 16 for meetings or private events. General Frederick Burnham owned the original Halcyon Sanitarium until 1955.
