Hotel Mount Maluti
Mohale's Hoek's conference hotel, set beneath the Maluti Mountains
Hotel Mount Maluti is a low-rise property at the foot of the Maluti Mountains, in the town of Mohale's Hoek, south of Maseru. The setting is more small-town than urban, with football fields and a basketball court nearby and mountain slopes visible beyond the car park. The hotel runs 84 en-suite rooms across standard and executive categories. Standard rooms take a queen bed and a work desk; executive rooms add a king bed, air conditioning, a fridge and floor-to-ceiling windows facing the town. Bathrooms in the executive category come with a rain shower.
Five conference halls anchor the property's role as a meeting point for the district, seating up to 120 in the largest and 15 in the smallest, each fitted with a projector, flip charts and a podium. A restaurant and bar serve breakfast and an à la carte menu spanning soups, sandwiches, pizza and desserts. Guests can swim or use the gym daily, with the pool open from 08h00 to 21h00 and the gym opening earlier, at 05h30. Wi-Fi runs free throughout, and the front desk operates seven days a week.
Check-in starts at 15h00; check-out is 10h00, with late check-out available for a fee. It is a practical base for conferencing away from Maseru's traffic, not a mountain retreat.
