Game drives at Ila Safari Lodge take place in an e-Cruiser, an electric vehicle designed to minimise noise and environmental impact. Guests join expert guides on morning or afternoon outings to observe wildlife including lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and various antelopes. Other animals commonly seen are hippo, crocodile, warthog, genet, and baboons. Occasionally, rarer species such as wild dog, cheetah, and honey badger appear. The drives offer close encounters with the diverse fauna of Kafue National Park, with guides sharing knowledge throughout.
