Island Seas Resort

Island Seas Resort occupies oceanfront land in Freeport on Grand Bahama Island, the northernmost island in the Bahamian chain. One- and two-bedroom condos are fully furnished, each with a living room, full kitchen, television with cable, DVD player, safe, and balcony. Units face either the courtyard or the 17-slip marina, which provides power and water hookups and accommodates vessels to 65 feet. The white-sand beach on the Atlantic descends gradually into the water; lounge chairs line the sand.

A custom-designed freeform pool with waterfalls and a child wading area sits between the courtyard and the ocean; a swim-up bar operates at the pool edge. Two hot tubs are sited separately, one in the courtyard, the other by the marina. Wellness Within day spa offers treatments in a beachfront cabana. A sand volleyball court, shuffleboard, horseshoe pit, playground, and fitness facility with treadmill, elliptical, and free weights occupy the grounds. Seagrape Grille serves breakfast and dinner indoors; pasta, steak, Bahamian seafood, and Italian entrées appear on the menu. Coconuts, the poolside restaurant, operates outdoors and prepares burgers, sandwiches, conch fritters, and salads. Java Nutz Cafe offers coffee, lattes, smoothies, and pastries. A coin-operated laundry facility is available on site. Karaoke takes place once weekly at Coconuts Bar.
