Itika Serengeti Camp

Itika Serengeti Camp sits on the Serengeti plains in the Mara Region, close to Seronera Valley — a stretch of the ecosystem that draws high concentrations of predators and the large herbivore herds they follow. Eight canvas tents accommodate a maximum of sixteen guests, which keeps guides and staff in a ratio that allows for close, unhurried attention on game drives.

Each tent is furnished with quality linens, slippers, and bathrobes, and comes with an en-suite bathroom that has double vanities, indoor and outdoor showers, and hot water around the clock. A seating area inside the tent gives you somewhere to sit in the shade between drives without going back to a communal space.

The camp runs guided game drives as its main activity, with the Seronera Valley accessible as a base for tracking lion, leopard, cheetah, and the seasonal movement of the Great Migration. Meals are taken in communal dining; the bar, barbeque facilities, and a restaurant are all on site. Laundry is done in camp, and the property has complimentary internet access and mobile connectivity. The camp describes itself as eco-friendly and speaks English, French, Spanish, and Swahili.

The name Itika is a Swahili word; the camp takes its character from that word's sense of calling and response.
