Kayakapi Premium Caves

Kayakapi Premium Caves is a restored cave neighbourhood set on a hillside in Ürgüp, built across one of the oldest settled areas in Cappadocia. Hundreds of cave houses and older structures have been brought back into use here, and a 10th-century cave church and a Seljuq-era mosque stand among them, along with the pilgrimage site tied to St. John the Russian. Suites are named for the families who once lived in them. Majestic Cave Suites range from 55m² to 91m², among them Çerkez Mehmet Evi and Taşçı Ömer Evi at 91m² each. Glorious Cave Suites run smaller, from 42m² to 73m², and Prime Rooms smaller still, from 33m² to 46m². Rooms keep LED televisions, air conditioning, and minibars behind their original cave walls and doorways. An outdoor pool looks out over Ürgüp and the valleys beyond it. The spa occupies a historic mansion at the lower end of the property, next to the pool and Maide Restaurant. Revithia, the hotel's tasting menu restaurant, is Cappadocia's first Michelin-starred kitchen, working Turkish, Greek, and Armenian recipes into a changing seasonal menu, poured alongside Cappadocian wines made from volcanic soil. Guests can eat inside the cave dining room or on a terrace facing the town. It is the first hotel in the region licensed as a boutique property by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism.
