Desert Tour exploring Gondwana Sperrgebiet Rand Park

The Desert Tour offers morning and afternoon departures to explore the Gondwana Sperrgebiet Rand Park. The tour covers parts of the Succulent Karoo desert and the Aus Mountains, focusing on the local flora and fauna. It requires a minimum of four participants. The park features over 100 kilometres of marked hiking trails ranging from easy to advanced, with colour-coded arrows and info kiosks at trailheads. Visitors can view a large stone image of galloping wild horses from selected trails. Park permits are obtained at the Desert Horse Inn reception and contribute to conservation efforts. The tour includes amenities such as a fan, fridge, heater, laundry service, safe, shower, tea and coffee, and a verandah.
