La Maison d'Ete

La Maison d'Été sits above a beach in the Flacq district on Mauritius's east coast, with a lagoon and coral reef visible from every room terrace. The property holds sixteen rooms across four categories. Nine Deluxe Rooms average twenty-three square metres each, with ocean views; five are freestanding and four are connected. Two Superior Rooms are around thirty square metres, each with a furnished terrace facing the water. Four Premium Rooms average forty-six square metres and include a family configuration with two extra beds. La Vigie is a single room built on stilts — sixty-five square metres, set apart from the main building, with open ocean views.

All rooms have air conditioning, a minibar, a safe, and Wi-Fi. Every guest has a private terrace, pool access, and direct access to the beach. A room rate includes breakfast.

The kitchen operates two dining settings: one beneath a palm-thatched roof furnished in wicker and timber, the other positioned at the water's edge. Both menus draw on Mauritian cuisine prepared with fresh local produce from land and sea. The bar specialises in cocktails built around gin, cognac, and aged Mauritian rum. A spa offers face and body treatments, and on-site cooking courses let guests learn the techniques behind the dishes they are served.
