The Lady Stanford is a modern, eco-friendly river boat that cruises along the Klein River towards the Hermanus lagoon. It has quiet four-stroke engines and open upper and lower decks for unobstructed views. The boat accommodates up to 26 passengers and features air conditioning and complimentary Wi-Fi. A qualified skipper and an experienced guide narrate the journey, highlighting over a hundred bird species such as fish eagles, flamingos, and blue cranes, as well as otters and bontebok along the riverbanks. The cruise is available daily and can be booked for private functions. It is not included in the standard Grootbos activity package.
