Leeu House sits on Huguenot Street at the centre of Franschhoek village — the restaurants, art galleries and wine boutiques of the main street are on your doorstep. It is an adults-only property: guests must be eighteen or older, unless the entire hotel is booked exclusively.

The twelve rooms and one suite are individually decorated, with sisal carpets, natural linen upholstery, and en-suite marble bathrooms fitted with free-standing baths, generous showers, underfloor heating, and heated towel rails. Room sizes run from thirty-five square metres in the Classic category to seventy square metres in the suite. Several rooms have private terraces; one Classic with Terrace has direct access to the pool. The suite, set apart from the main building, has a lounge with a fireplace and an outdoor seating area that looks onto the fifteen-metre pool and the mountains. Dylan Lewis's sculpture Leopard On A Rock stands in the suite's garden.

The Conservatory is the in-house dining room, open to resident guests for breakfast and all-day light meals, with seating for up to twenty-four indoors or on the terrace. Guests can also access the Great Heart Wine Boutique at the sister property Le Quartier Français across the road — a table-for-four tasting reserved for Leeu House and Le Quartier Français guests — and wine tastings at the Mullineux and Leeu Family Wines Studio at Leeu Estates, a five-minute drive away.

Breakfast, a scheduled shuttle service, a complimentary Great Heart Wine tasting, and unlimited Wi-Fi are included in the room rate.
