Lion Sands Narina Lodge
Perched on stilts among century-old trees above the Sabie River, Narina Lodge sits within a private concession inside Kruger National Park. Nine suites rest on elevated platforms connected by timber walkways. Each suite opens to a private plunge pool and deck overlooking the river, where elephants cross and hippos surface below. Glass doors slide open to the canopy. Inside are air-conditioned sleeping areas with double beds convertible to twins, egg baths, outdoor showers, personal bars, and in-room safes. Mosquito nets and overhead fans are fitted. The main deck extends over the water on stilts, furnished with lounges and dining areas set into the forest.

Field guides and trackers lead game drives in private vehicles across the reserve's five thousand hectares. Drives track lion, leopard, rhino, elephant, and buffalo off-road through bush and along the floodplain. Morning bush walks depart after breakfast with rangers who explain tracks and seed pods underfoot. Stargazing sessions run from the elevated Tinyeleti treehouse, where guests sleep beneath open sky with a lantern-lit picnic. The spa sala offers Africology massages and facials between drives. Meals rotate between the main lodge deck, lantern-lit clearings in the bush, and boma fires under the stars. Wireless internet, laundry service, and minibar are complimentary. The lodge supports education and infrastructure projects in the neighbouring Huntington and Justicia B villages, with community visits available through Get Your Hands Dirty programmes.
