Little Chem Chem sits on the eastern side of a 16,000-hectare exclusive-use wildlife concession in the Manyara-Tarangire region, unfenced, with views that stretch west over the plains to Lake Burunge and south to the Babati Mountain Range. The camp holds six tents and sleeps fourteen guests in total — five luxury vintage tents and one two-bedroom family tent. Each tent has a king or twin bed configuration, a rocking chair, a dressing room, and an en-suite bathroom with both indoor and outdoor shower.

Every booking includes a private guide and an open safari vehicle, which goes out on day drives across the concession and into Tarangire National Park. Night drives run within the concession only. Two photography hides sit at the edge of watering holes used by both birds and large game; lions, elephant herds, and cheetah are all present in the area. A sunrise hike up Vilimia Vitatu Hill, nature walks at Lake Manyara, Maasai and Barabaig village visits, hot-air balloon flights, and scenic helicopter flights are all available as additional activities.

The camp has a pool, a spa, and a fitness area. Meals follow a sharing-plate format at lunch and a three-course à la carte menu at dinner. Breakfast is continental and hot. Picnic hampers go out with full-day drives. Herbs for the kitchen come from the camp's own garden.

The property partners with the Friedkin Conservation Fund and the Chem Chem Association, both of which work with local communities across the surrounding ecosystem.
