Malakai Eco Lodge

Malakai Eco Lodge sits in Kitende, 300 metres off the Kampala–Entebbe road. The property stands 20 minutes by road from Entebbe International Airport. En-suite cottages face the garden, fitted with mosquito nets. The Pond Cottage includes a jacuzzi, sitting area, and a private island reached by bridge. Golden Snail Cottage is built above the pond; its interior carries gold-coated art. The Light Room holds an egg-shaped double bed made from barkcloth. Island Cottage opens onto a balcony that overlooks forest; monkeys appear regularly. Tree House and Forest Cottage occupy separate garden positions. Family rooms accommodate larger groups.

The garden serves as an open-air restaurant in the evening, offering local and international dishes. An 11-metre swimming pool runs the length of the grounds. The open-air gym overlooks the gardens and fish ponds. A wellness centre operates with vibration chairs, massage beds, and slimming chairs. Guests fish from canoes on the property's ponds; evening campfires are set nightly. Bird-watching and monkey-viewing take place within the grounds. Full-day boat trips depart for Koome Island and Bulago Island on Lake Victoria. The gardens accommodate events for up to 200 people and include a children's playground and fish ponds lit after dark.
