Mangais Golf Resort

Set at the mouth of the Kwanza River, 55 km south of Luanda, Mangais Ecoturismo occupies a site bordered by mangrove and the shoreline near Quiçama National Park. The property centres on an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Jorge Santana da Silva, with a maximum distance of 7,000 metres and six tee markers per hole to accommodate varying skill levels. The layout moves from palm groves and wetland in the opening nine to coastal dunes and open fairways on the back stretch. A driving range and clubhouse serve the course.

Accommodation includes bungalows for two, standard rooms for two, double rooms for four, and a presidential suite with separate bedroom, bathroom, dining area, and kitchen. All units carry air conditioning, television, minibar, and Wi-Fi. An outdoor pool, spa offering massage, and a riverside restaurant with à la carte and buffet service operate on site. The restaurant overlooks the river. Horseback riding, boat excursions, birdwatching, bicycle tours, photographic safaris, and paragliding are arranged through the property. The site has hosted the Senior Sunshine Tour Angola Mangais Classic, the World Corporate Golf Challenge Angola, and the International Pairs Angola qualifier.
