Framed by indigenous gardens and twin saltwater pools, Mokuti Etosha sits at the Von Lindequist Gate, four minutes from Etosha National Park's eastern entrance. The lodge occupies a private reserve that shares a common border with the park. One hundred and six standard rooms hold twin beds convertible to king-size, air-conditioning, en-suite showers, mini-fridges, safes, and satellite television. Eight luxury family rooms add a separate lounge with a second television and sleeper couch for children. All rooms open onto private patios.
Two swimming pools lie beneath tall palms; a splash pool serves younger children. Two floodlit tennis courts, a gym, a spa, and a pool-and-billiard room complete the grounds. Guided game drives depart in open Land Cruisers at sunrise and mid-afternoon, entering Etosha through the Von Lindequist Gate to track elephant, lion, leopard, zebra, giraffe, and black and white rhino across the pans. Night drives cross the private reserve after dark. Morning bush walks and sundowner drives are available. The Ontoka Reptile Park houses crocodiles, venomous snakes, chameleons, and turtles; scheduled feeding sessions run daily.
