A private plunge pool sits outside each of the seventeen units. Views run either to the Naukluft Mountains or across the desert plain; all rooms open onto stone decks where you can hear the silence of the surrounding landscape. The lodge sits at the base of the Naukluft range on the C19 road, 56 kilometres north of Sesriem and the gates to Namib Naukluft Park.
Thirteen luxury rooms hold king beds on solid bases, split into two mattresses with separate bedding. En-suite showers, bar fridges, and plunge pools are standard. Four executive suites add detached bathrooms fitted with deep soaking tubs, rainfall shower heads, and double sinks; two of these suites accommodate up to four when children share with parents via sleeper sofas. Four standard twin rooms without plunge pools serve as guide or pilot quarters.
Nebula Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a focus on Namibian ingredients; alfresco seating on the deck is available when weather permits. Cosmos Bar runs throughout the day and overlooks the desert plains and fossilised dunes in the distance. Afternoon tea with coffee, cake, and biscuits is complimentary.
Guided sunrise excursions depart for Sossusvlei, Deadvlei, and Sesriem Canyon with lodge vehicles and drivers; groups run from two to nine guests. Two self-guided hiking trails cross the property, where plains game—mountain zebra, springbok, oryx, wildebeest, red hartebeest—move through the terrain. A sunset walk to an elevated viewpoint includes sparkling or still water, two alcoholic drinks per person, and appetisers as light drops. Stargazing from the deck is unguided; Namibia's dark skies rank among the clearest on the continent.
