Set on a hillside within the Likweti Bushveld Wildlife Estate near White River, Muluwa Lodge sits fifteen minutes' drive from Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport and thirty-five minutes from the Numbi gate into Kruger National Park. The property holds twenty-two rooms—four luxury safari tents, fourteen superior rooms, two superior family rooms, and two luxury suites—plus one four-bedroom villa. Thatched main lodge areas open through full-length glass doors onto a wooden deck that steps down to an infinity pool. Plains game graze the estate; you can hear birdsong from the deck.
The four thirty-square-metre luxury tents stand on raised wooden platforms and hold king or twin beds, en-suite showers, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, and mini-bars. The fourteen forty-square-metre superior rooms add bathtubs and outdoor showers; superior family rooms accommodate four. Two forty-five-square-metre luxury suites sit elevated on the hillside, each with a freestanding bathtub, walk-around indoor shower, outdoor shower, open-plan lounge, and private plunge pool. The villa holds four en-suite bedrooms, a boma, an indoor braai, and a hot tub.
The restaurant serves international dishes; a spa offers massages. Guided full-day safaris into Kruger depart with registered guides in open vehicles. Half-day drives cover the Panorama Route, taking in God's Window, the Three Rondavels, and Bourke's Luck Potholes. Laundry service, wireless internet, and secure parking are complimentary.
