Nimali Serengeti sits in the centre of the Serengeti National Park, close to Makoma Hill, on open plains broken by granite kopjes. The position matters: the central Serengeti supports buffalo and elephant in sustained numbers year-round, consistent big cat activity, and one of the main wildebeest migration corridors — the herds pass through twice annually, roughly April to June and again October to December.

The camp holds fourteen tented suites. Each has a private verandah, a bathtub, and an outdoor shower, with views across the kopje-dotted plains. Two of the tents connect by a covered walkway, forming a family configuration that can also run as two separate units. Room facilities include a fireplace, a fridge, a minibar, mosquito nets, a safe, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

On the property: a restaurant, bar, pool, and spa. The kitchen runs fine dining, high tea, and gourmet picnics in the field. Guided game walks, game drives, and wildlife tours operate from the camp. Off-site, the activities list extends to hot air ballooning over the plains and helicopter scenic flights. Cooking courses are also available on site.

The camp is reached via light aircraft to one of the Serengeti's internal airstrips, with a private vehicle transfer arranged from there. English and Swahili are spoken by the team.
