Standard Chalets at Nkwichi Lodge face the shores of Lake Malawi, each with a verandah overlooking the water. They are built using local stone, bamboo and thatching grass, blending with the natural environment. Each chalet has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, an outside shower, and a detached private bathroom. Mosquito nets and dressing gowns are standard, and a lounge area is included. Laundry service is complimentary. The chalets offer basic comfort while maintaining an eco-conscious design. You watch the lake from the verandah, where the lodge’s eight beaches stretch along four kilometres of coastline.
