The Ombo Village visit provides a guided cultural experience with local hosts in a traditional Herero community. Guests are transported by Otjiwa guides to the village where they learn about the history, architecture, dress, and customs of the Herero people. The visit lasts about one and a half hours and includes demonstrations such as milk churning, milking cows, and holy fire rituals. Small groups are guided through belief systems and marriage traditions, with opportunities for interaction and questions. Transport, guide, and cultural activities are included.
