Morning game drives cross the Makuleke Contract Park in northern Kruger National Park, tracking elephant herds through fever-tree forest and leopards along the Luvuvhu River floodplain. Nineteen tented suites line the river beneath tall trees, linked by raised wooden walkways that follow the water's edge. Each suite holds a king-size bed—convertible to twins—an en-suite bathroom with indoor and outdoor showers, mosquito nets, a ceiling fan, and a private deck above the river. The Riverview Family Tent holds two rooms: one with a king-size bed, one with two singles, connected by a shared bathroom.
Guided bush walks move through the Makuleke concession on foot, crossing forest, floodplain, and gorge between the Luvuvhu and Limpopo rivers. Walks are arranged in advance with the camp. Night drives use spotlights to track nocturnal species after sunset. Lanner Gorge, the Limpopo floodplain, and the Nyala Berry forest are accessible by vehicle.
The camp includes a pool, a bar, a restaurant, and communal dining beneath the trees. An activity desk arranges drives, walks, and cultural tours. Battery-charging points and complimentary laundry are standard. Staff speak English. The camp operates in partnership with the Makuleke community, whose ancestral land forms the concession.
