Park Safari Resort

Guests join elephant-back safaris into Chitwan National Park, tracking one-horned rhinoceros and Royal Bengal tigers through dense forest and savannah. The resort arranges canoe rides on the Rapti, jungle walks with naturalist guides, and jeep drives across the park's 500-rhinoceros habitat. Bird-watching excursions cover the 500-plus species recorded in the Chitwan ecosystem. Cultural evenings feature Tharu dance performances and visits to nearby Tharu villages.

The resort stands in Sauraha, southern Nepal, 1.1 kilometres from the national park boundary. Ten rooms split between deluxe double and deluxe family configurations; each has air-conditioning, a 32-inch LED television with cable channels, a balcony, and an en-suite marble bathroom with shower and complimentary toiletries.
