Framed by hardwood and glass, each villa opens onto a private pool that reflects granite hillside or Indian Ocean horizon. Eighty-seven villas descend the slope above Anse Takamaka on Praslin Island; every unit carries a plunge or lap pool, outdoor rain shower, and daybed terrace. The four-bedroom beachfront residence spans 740 m² with two terraces, a 30 m² pool, and a separate pavilion; it sleeps ten. Two-bedroom villas divide between ocean-view hillside sites and beachfront plots a short walk from the sand. Grand Panoramic Pool Villas occupy the highest elevation, with views across palm forest to the water; each includes an outdoor pavilion and 20 m² plunge pool. Hillside Garden View Pool Villas at 125 m² face endemic flora and hear birdsong through the canopy. Cream and sage-green interiors run through all categories; walk-in closets and rain showers are standard. Raffles opened the property in 2011 as the brand's first all-villa resort. A five-stage filtration system allowed the resort to eliminate single-use plastic in 2019. The spa offers Biologique Recherche facials and side-by-side massage; steam room and sauna are on site. Boat excursions to La Digue Island depart directly from Anse Takamaka beach. Vallée de Mai, a UNESCO forest of 400-year-old coco de mer palms, is accessible by road. Creole cooking classes take place in an open-air beach kitchen. Aldabra giant tortoises inhabit the neighbouring island of Curieuse.
