Established in the Senga Hills Forest Reserve at Senga Bay, Safari Beach Lodge occupies three hectares of lakeside forest with a private beach on Lake Malawi. The property holds eight rooms: six chalets of natural materials with private verandas overlooking Leopard Bay from above, and two rooms in the main lodge that face the garden and include air conditioning and television. All units carry private bathrooms, hot water, fridges, fans, and electricity. Chalets seat two to three; one family chalet accommodates seven.

The restaurant serves fresh fish from the lake alongside steak, pasta, and vegetarian dishes. A swimming pool, bar, and garden with platform bar sit on the grounds. Conference rooms accommodate 80 in the larger hall and 50 in the smaller, both air-conditioned. Weddings and events take place in garden or beach areas. Activities include snorkelling, kayaking, swimming, and boat excursions on the lake. Forest trails run through the reserve; baboons, hyrax, monitor lizards, fish eagles, kingfishers, weavers, and cormorants are recorded on the property. The lodge lies 800 metres along a gravel road from the end of the S122 at Senga Bay, 90 minutes by road from Lilongwe. Managing director Wim Werrelman is a professional wildlife photographer; his prints hang in the lodge.
